Day 1: Delhi
We welcome you as you arrive at the International Airport in Delhi. Our officials will escort you to your hotel rooms, where you will spend the rest of the day/night.
Day 2: Delhi
This day is the tour of Old and New Delhi. After breakfast, you will visit Jama Masjid, the ever famous Chandni Chowk, Red Fort, India Gate, and many other government buildings. You will visit the memorial of Mahatma Gandhi, Raj Ghat, Humayun’s Tomb, and Qutab Minar also. You will then be driven to Jaipur, via road, and stay there for the night.
Day 3: Delhi - Amritsar
This day starts off with the train travel from Delhi to Amritsar, via Shatabdi Express, and reach Amritsar in six hours. On this day, you will visit the famous Wagah Border Ceremony, in which both Pakistan and India will lower their flags for the night. This tradition has been followed since 1959 and is a treat to watch. Laze around for the rest of the day and rest at the hotel for the night.
Day 4: Amritsar
Amritsar is really popular for its Golden Temple, the holiest temple for the Sikh community. It is a sacred Sikh sanctuary built in gold and covered with golden leaves. Visit the Community Kitchen in the Golden Temple, which feeds as many as 10000 people per day. The day continues where you will visit the Jallianwala Bagh, where the infamous massacre of a peaceful crowd took place. Then, you will visit the Ram Bagh, a beautiful Garden.
Day 5: Amritsar - Jaipur
You will fly from Amritsar to Jaipur on this day, and will be escorted to the hotel and allowed to rest for the day. Stay overnight at the hotel.
Day 6: Jaipur
Jaipur is an amazing city in Rajasthan, famous for its elephant rides and magnificent palaces. You will take a ride on the back of an elephant after breakfast, visit Sheesh Mahal and Hawa Mahal, and the City Palace Museum. After lunch, you will also visit the Jantar Mantar, the largest stone observatory, which is used till date. Called “Pink City”, you can see the pinkish hue on the route back to the hotel, where you will spend the night.
Day 7: Jaipur - Agra
After breakfast, you will drive on the most magnificent road in India from Jaipur to Agra, a 289-km drive, and reach Agra. The capital city of the Mughals, Fatehpur Sikhri, will be visited en-route to Agra which emerges to be of the finest examples of Mughal architecture. Moreover, the prodigious nature of these architectures is sure to make you awestruck. Then, reach Agra, have dinner at the hotel and rest there for the night.
Day 8: Agra
On this day, you will look at one of the finest masterpieces of the Mughal Era, the Taj Mahal, the Agra Fort, and the Itimad-Ud-Daula. All these monuments are perfect examples of love, sadness, and life put together in a complete package. The beauty of these buildings is hard to describe with words, and impossible to forget for the minds. Akbar’s mausoleum is one of the most secular architecture comprising of the finest blend of all religions of that day.
Day 9: Agra - Delhi
After breakfast, you will drive 220 Kms to reach back to Delhi at Delhi International Airport to catch your flight; thereafter bidding this wonderful trip.
