DAY 1: ARRIVAL IN DELHI
Welcome to New Delhi, the capital city of India. The city has so much to offer that there is never a dull moment. Get ready to spend a splendid vacation luxuriously. Visit the beautiful temples, historical monuments and bazaars & streets that have age old stories and take back memories for a lifetime. On your arrival you will be greeted at the airport by our representatives and will be transferred to your hotel. We have not planned anything for today. You will be left free at your leisure to rest.
Your documents will be handed over to you along with plan/schedule of your tour. Though most of the visits are pre-planned, but you can also customize them as per your convenience.
DAY 2: DELHI
Treat yourself in the popular city of North India. Delhi is the capital city of India and all official buildings are in this city. Though the city has witnessed a lot since the time of Mughals, it has grown as a modern city with time. We will start from the Old Delhi visiting the colourful bazaars of Chandni Chowk. A rickshaw ride is planned for you which will take you along the narrow streets of the market. You can stop here to shop for your loved ones back home. The market offers traditional clothing, souvenirs, traditional jewellery, utensils and a lot more that you won’t find in any other city of India. Food of this place is popular among the people of Delhi. It attracts people from various places to indulge in authentic street food of Delhi.
We continue our tour to Red Fort. The fort depicts architectural and historical skill set of the labourers of those times. A blend of Persian, Indian and European architecture, the fort was once called the 8th wonder of the world. It was the seat of the Mughal Empire for more than 250 years and is a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
Next in plan is a visit to Raj Ghat - the cremation site of Mahatma Gandhi. The lush green lawn has a black marble platform built on the remains of Mahatma Gandhi. An eternal flame burns next to the platform.
Your lunch will be organised at a popular restaurant serving both vegetarian and non-vegetarian delicacies of Delhi.
After lunch you’d be visiting the magnificent Bangle Sahib Gurudwara. Although it is a Sikhism’s shrine, people of all religions are welcome here. The Gurudwara serves langar (free meal served as prasaad) daily to thousands of people. If time permits, we will sit down to taste some langar. It is prepared at the Gurudwara by the volunteers and served by the volunteers. You can also participate in the daily activities with the volunteers
The tour will continue by a drive through Lutyens’ Delhi, from the Connaught Place - Delhi’s historic British era marketplace. You can stop to shop the local items being sold on the road side.
Next we will visit India Gate followed by Humanyun Tomb and then Qutub Minar. All three monuments have their own beautiful stories. You can ask the tour guide to narrate them to you. These are one of the best places to take a few pictures for memories.
Evening is planned at an affluent Delhi family’s home where the chef will cook delicious multicourse Indian meal for you. Take a few cooking lessons and enjoy the meal. After your dinner you will be driven back to the hotel. Your overnight stay will be at the hotel.
DAY 3: DELHI – AGRA
Today will be your last day in Delhi. After breakfast you will be assisted with checkout from your hotel. We will drive to reach Agra which will be an approximately 3 hours drive. Once you reach, you tour will begin with a visit to the famous tomb of Itmad-Ud-Daulah built by the Mughal Emperor Jehangir’s queen as a memorial to her father.
Next in plan is a visit to Agra Fort built in 1565 by the Mughal ruler, Emperor Akbar. The fort depicts grandeur of the Mughal Empire with its royal audience halls, private royal chambers, immense stone courtyards and marble mosque.
Your lunch will be at a local restaurant of Agra serving local north Indian food. You will be then driven to your hotel where we will leave you at your leisure to enjoy rest of the day as you wish. Your accommodation will be arranged at a hotel in Agra.
Later in the evening we will visit one of the Seven Wonders of the World – TheTaj Mahal. Spend a blissful evening as you please. A monument dedicated to love is a beautiful white marble Heritage Site. Built by Emperor Shah Jahan in 1653 AD in the memory of his queen Mumtaz Mahal the spectacular white monument was created by approximately 22,000 skilled craftsmen and it took 22 years to complete.
Agra is popular for its artists’ work. You can visit the market to pick up the popular Agra ka Petha (sweet prepared with pumpkin) and a few souvenirs. Overnight stay will be at the hotel in Agra.
DAY 4: AGRA – RANTHAMBORE
Today’s tour will be another splendid tour exploring the ancient monuments of the region. You can choose to sleep or opt to witness the sunrise at Mehtab Bagh. It is a 500-year-old Mughal garden situated just across The Taj Mahal.
When you return, we will assist you to checkout from your hotel and drive to reach Fatehpur Sikri. The city of Fatehpur Sikri was beautiful built by Emperor Akbar between 1570 and 1585 A.D. and is constructed primarily out of red sandstone.
Next you will visit the tallest gateway in the world, the towering Bulund Darwaza (The Gate of Victory). Also visit the marble tomb of Shaik Salim Chishti, built in 1570. It is a white marble tomb beautifully built by artisans of those times.
We will continue our journey and reach Sawai Madhopur (Ranthambore National Park). You can stop along the way to capture the scenic beauty of the region. The rural Rajasthan comprises of colourful villages. See the daily activities of the local people and participate in a few. Camel is used as an easy transport medium in this area.
When you arrive, your accommodation arrangements will be made at the jungle lodge. Get ready for multiple tiger sighting.
DAY 5: RANTHAMBORE
Ranthambore is spread over an area of 410 square kilometres that runs along the eastern spur of the Aravali mountain range until it meets with the Vindhya ranges. The jungle of Ranthambore was once considered as private hunting grounds of the Jaipur rulers’. It was in 1972 that it was declared a Sanctuary and was brought under the Project Tiger Conservation platform.
Major part of the park is covered with dry deciduous forest while the lakes and ponds are surrounded with vegetation. The open grasslands are favorite terrain of the tigers. The park is home to leopards, deer, the sloth bear and shy caracal.
Enjoy a guided wildlife safari in the morning and early hours of the evening. A short visit to the Ranthambore Fort is also planned. This massive Fort is said to be the finest examples of the ancient Hindu concept of Vana-Durg. The fort today lies majorly in ruins after it was successively occupied by the Muslims, Rajputs and Mughals.
The fort also has an ancient temple that attracts continuous stream of pilgrims from the surrounding villages. You have to be careful here. The region is home to aggressive langur’s (South Asian monkeys). Ensure that you do not carry anything that grabs monkey’s attention.
Evening is set for a bonfire at the lodge. Gather around the campfire along with other guests. Enjoy a variety of Indian barbecue delicacies before dinner.

DAY 6: RANTHAMBORE – JAIPUR
Today will be your last day in Ranthambore. Get ready for your last safari after the breakfast. When you return, you will be assisted to check out and driven to Jaipur.
We will halt midway for lunch. Enjoy authentic Rajasthani cuisine at a popular restaurant. The drive in this route will cover rural Rajasthan. You can halt to capture pictures.
When you reach, we will help you check into your hotel in Jaipur. A cultural show is planned in the evening, followed by dinner.
Your overnight stay will be at the hotel in Jaipur.
DAY 7: JAIPUR
The day begins with an excursion to Amber Fort and Palace. As per your comfort you can reach the fort on elephant or jeep. Feel like a price/princess while you climb up the fort. The magnificent fort is a standing example of Rajput grandeur and opulence. The fort complex was originally built by Raja Mansigh. Explore the beautiful chambers and alleys and get a glimpse of the glorious past of the region.
Enjoy lunch at one of Jaipur’s famous restaurant.
In the afternoon visit Jantar Mantar, a UNESCO World Heritage site. The stone observatory was built by Raja Jai Singh in 1728. Next stop would be Hawa Mahal, or ‘Palace of Winds’. It was built in 1799 so that the ladies of the royal family could observe the bazaars. The tour continues and you visit City Palace next. The perfect blend of Rajasthani and Mughal architectural styles, the City Palace is a must visit when in Jaipur. Stroll through the markets to pick up souvenirs and enjoy a tour of a collection of Rajput turbans. A turban tying demonstration is included, as are turban and Sari tying lessons.
In the evening enjoy a cultural show at a local restaurant followed by traditional dinner.
DAY 8: JAIPUR – UDAIPUR
Day today is set for a drive towards Ranakpur. When you arrive a guided tour is planned to the mesmerizing 15th century Jain Temple Complex. The temple has 29 halls and 1,044 marble pillars which are carved in a beautiful manner that no two are of the same design.
Lunch will be served at a restaurant in Ranakpur. We will then continue our drive towards Udaipur after lunch. Udaipur is popular for its artistic work and paintings. We will drive through the Aravali hills where you can stop by to capture pictures. See the village life and camels that give a scenic beauty to the place. Once you arrive you will check into your hotel.
Your overnight stay will be at the hotel in Udaipur.
DAY 9: UDAIPUR
Your city tour will begin with City Palace. The palace is beautifully decorated having large rooms with handcrafted mirrors that cover the walls, expansive inlaid marble balconies, the ancient ivory doors, the brightly coloured stained glass windows, and the unique peacock courtyard.
Next halt will be at Lake Pichola followed by a private tour of the beautiful Crystal Gallery that has the world’s largest collection of priceless crystal.
You can choose to return to your hotel to relax, or opt for a visit to the vintage car museum that is owned by Udaipur’s royal family. The museum showcases collection of classic European and American automobiles. You can also choose to explore the market area to buy souvenirs.
The tour also includes a short visit to Sahelion-Ki-Bari gardens, which has an interesting historic story. If time permits, we will spend time at the garden.
Return to your hotel and relax. Your overnight stay will be at the hotel in Udaipur.
DAY 10: UDAIPUR – MUMBAI
Today will be your last day in Udaipur. We will help you check out from the hotel and drive to the airport where you will board the flight to Mumbai. When you reach, you will meet our representatives at the airport and get transferred to the hotel.
Rest for a few hours and get ready for a guided city tour of Mumbai. Your Mumbai tour will begin from the beautiful Elephanta Island Caves. This can be one of beautiful places to capture memories in your camera. If time permits we will go for a boat ride. You can also opt for a train ride from the jetty to the base hills. One day will be less time to explore the entire Elephanta.
Overnight stay will be at the hotel in Mumbai.
DAY 11: MUMBAI - INTERNATIONAL FLIGHT
Today will be your last day of the tour. After breakfast you will leave for half city tour of Mumbai. Visit the Prince of Wales Museum which was built in 1905 to commemorate King George V’s first visit to India. Designed beautifully in an Indo-Saracenic style, the museum has sections of art, paintings, archaeological exhibits and natural history.
Next halt will be at Mumbai’s popular Dhobi Ghat. Watch the age old tradition laundry of Mumbai.
Lunch will be at a local restaurant of Mumbai serving Maharashtra cuisine.
Later you will be driven to the airport where you will board your flight to your home country. Our services will end at Mumbai airport.
